Sean started Ultimate Mobile Detail in 1995 as an owner-operator, detailing cars with an intense focus on quality. It was apparent that he had found his passion and the only thing better than cleaning the cars, was seeing the owners face when it was delivered.

With an ongoing commitment to learning and improving processes, they built trust quickly and their client base grew. They continued to evolve out of necessity to help meet the growing demands that the road threw at their clients. Soon the services expanded to repairing; dents, bumper scuffs, clear-coat damage, windshield cracks, paint chips, scratches etc and they changed names to more appropriately be known as Ultimate Auto Care

The business continued to thrive. but something just seemed off. They were plagued by a constant reoccurring, yet unresolved question: “Are we really helping our customers protect their investment, or are we just putting lipstick on a pig to mask the damage after the fact?”

As OCD vehicle owners themselves it was apparent that there had to be a better way to truly help their clients. They had to proactively get ahead somehow and STOP the inevitable damage BEFORE it happened. It was that probing discontent that pushed them to continue the quest in search of the best ways to keep a new car looking new. They wanted to extend that new car pride-in-ownership for as long as possible.

LIGHT BULB MOMENT!!! Finally, it all clicked and became vividly clear; It wasn't fixing the damage after the fact but rather preserving vehicles from day one that was the missing focus. The vision shifted from fixing damage to preventing it.

In 2004 they were reborn as Ultimate Shield, guided by a new mission statement: “WE PROTECT VEHICLES…for the people who love them”. With Clear Bra (PPF), Window Tint, Windshield Skins, and Ceramic Coatings, they’ve perfected the process of keeping new cars looking new. Since then it’s been a steadfast commitment to mastering their craft and providing world class customer service. That simple mission remains as the driving force to keep them on track for the next 30 years.
