It all started in 1995 when Sean, fresh out of high school, turned his passion for cars into a business. With an OCD-level obsession for cleanliness, he loved keeping his truck spotless—and soon realized he enjoyed giving others that same satisfaction even more. With the help of friends and family, he learned everything he could (before the internet), outfitted a trailer with top-tier car wash equipment, and started detailing. Night classes in auto reconditioning and detailing sharpened his skills even further. As his clientele grew, so did his services. Ultimate Mobile Detail became Ultimate Auto Care, offering dent removal, paint touch-ups, and bumper repairs. Business was booming, and Sean worked six days a week—playing just as hard on the weekends (the scars prove it).

Then, in 1999, an ad for "Clear Bra" in an automotive magazine caught his attention. A few mail-order kits later, he flew to San Antonio to train with XPEL, unknowingly setting the course for the future. Selling PPF wasn’t easy at first—after all, it didn’t make cars look cooler or drive faster—but over time, as his clients bought new vehicles, demand grew. The vision shifted from fixing damage to preventing it. Instead of constantly repairing scratches, dents, and chips, he focused on
